About the Recovery Run

A Race to Freedom

The Recovery Run is a family-friendly 5K walk/run celebrating hope, healing, and recovery.

Now in its 6th year, the Recovery Run brings together individuals, families, recovery advocates, and community supporters for a morning of encouragement, connection, and healthy living. What began as a local event has grown into a community tradition that highlights the possibility of transformation and the importance of supporting those impacted by addiction.

Hosted by The Bridge Restoration Ministry in partnership with local organizations, service providers, businesses, and community leaders, the Recovery Run raises awareness about recovery while helping connect individuals and families with valuable resources and support.

Together, these organizations share a common goal: building stronger, healthier communities where hope can flourish and recovery is possible.

Whether participants are walking in honor of a loved one, celebrating a personal recovery journey, or simply supporting a worthy cause, every step taken helps promote healing, reduce stigma, and inspire change.
